Dr. Hans Jörg Stotz joined the managing board of Festo Didactic SE, the leading provider of solutions in the field of technical education and training, in October 2018. He is responsible for strategy, product- and service-development as well as production, training and human resources. His current focus is on training and education in the context of digitization and Industry 4.0. This includes the evolution of education profiles influenced by digitization of production, energy efficiency, and agile working methods, as well as innovative didactic concepts for lifelong learning. He supports the German-American and German-Chinese working groups of the platform Industry 4.0 of the Federal Government as well as the platform Advanced Manufacturing of the World Economic Forum.
Before joining Festo Didactic, Dr. Stotz was SVP Strategy & Innovation for the Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing division at SAP and Sherpa in the platform Industry 4.0. He has been a member of the board of trustees of the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy since 2017.
