Susan Bincoletto

Susan Bincoletto was appointed Ambassador to the Swiss Federal Council with concurrent accreditation to the Principality of Liechtenstein on 21 August 2017.
From 2013 to 2017, she worked at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada as Assistant Deputy Minister, International Business Development, Investment and Innovation, and as Chief Trade Commissioner. From 2000 to 2013, Ambassador Bincoletto served as Chief Financial Officer, Assistant Deputy Minister of Spectrum, Information Technologies and Telecommunication Sector, and Assistant Deputy Minister at the Strategic Policy Sector, at Industry Canada. She held various positions in the Privy Council Office and the Department of Finance Canada, where she started her career in 1984. Ambassador Bincoletto holds an MA in Economics from the University of Ottawa (Canada) as well as graduate degrees in Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
